Privacy Policy
StrideBloom is a walking habit and wellness app for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
Depending on how you use StrideBloom, we may collect or store:
- Account information, such as your email address and Firebase user ID.
- Profile details you enter, such as your name, walking goal, and preferred walk time.
- App progress, such as daily walking goal, step estimates, distance, calories, streaks, rewards, and settings.
- Subscription status needed to unlock paid app access.
- Support emails you send to us.
Motion and walking data
StrideBloom may request access to iPhone motion data to estimate steps during a walk session. Motion data is used to support walking progress features. If motion access is unavailable or denied, the app may use a demo pace during testing or preview experiences.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, StrideBloom uses notification permission to schedule walk reminders. You can disable notifications in the app or in iOS Settings.
Firebase
StrideBloom uses Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, to support account login and app data storage. Firebase is provided by Google. Firebase may process technical information needed to provide these services.
Apple subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions are managed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. You can manage Apple subscriptions at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and manage your StrideBloom account.
- Personalize your walking goals, reminders, rewards, and progress.
- Provide support and respond to your requests.
- Maintain app security and prevent abuse.
- Comply with legal, tax, or platform requirements.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the app, such as Firebase/Google and Apple for subscription processing. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users, the app, or our rights.
Data retention
We keep account and app data for as long as needed to provide StrideBloom, support the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.
Account deletion
You can request deletion from inside the StrideBloom app or by emailing stridebloomsupport@gmail.com. Deleting your StrideBloom account removes account data we maintain for the app, except where retention is required for legal, fraud prevention, security, or compliance reasons.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel Apple subscriptions. Apple subscriptions must be managed through your Apple ID settings.
Children
StrideBloom is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Health and wellness note
StrideBloom is for general wellness and walking motivation. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
